The brackets are out for the 2010 NCAA Tournament and Kentucky has earned the second Number 1 seed of the Tournament.  Kentucky was placed in the East Region and their first opponent will be East Tennessee St of the Atlantic Sun Conference.  The game will be played on Thursday, the 18th of March at 7:15 p.m. (EST).

If the Wildcats win their first game, they would have an interesting match-up in the second round against either Texas or Wake Forest.  West Virginia comes in as the number 2 seed in the East Region.  Other notable teams in the East Region include: Wisconsin, Temple, Marquette, New Mexico, Clemson, and Missouri.

The four number one teams in the tournament include: Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, and Syracuse.
