Scores and Post Game Reports
By statistics, it was a game that the Kentucky Wildcats should have won easily, but in reality, the Cats found themselves in a battle. The Georgia Bulldogs was actually 18 point underdogs coming in.
Despite 9 different UK Wildcats scoring in the first half, Georgia was still in the game at halftime, mostly credited to Terrance Woodbury, who had 21 points in the first half. Kentucky went over 10 minutes without a turnover in the first half, but soon coughed it up 5 times in about 5 minutes. Michael Porter was the Cats’ leading scorer at halftime with 12 points courtesy of four 3-pointers. Kentucky led the basketball game at 49-47 at halftime.
The second half was a back and fourth battle until Georgia went on a run to go up by 10 points. Kentucky came back, but found themselves down again by 10 points. For the rest of the game, the Wildcats found themselves trying to get back into the game. Within the last few seconds, the Cats were back in the game, but 1 of 2 free throw shooting by Meeks and Harris sealed the deal to allow the Georgia Bulldogs to pull off the win.
Jodie Meeks finished with 23 points on a 6 for 16 field goal shooting night. Michael Porter finished with 15 and Patrick Patterson finished with 14 points.
The Kentucky Wildcats were boo’d as they walked off they court with a final score of 90-85 in favor of the Georgia Bulldogs. I felt the crowd’s boo was deserving!
In My Opinion: Kentucky’s bubble has burst!!!!!!! We just lost at home, on senior night, to a team that came in with a record of 2 wins and 12 losses in the SEC and 11 wins and 18 losses overall. Now, looking at that statistic, do you really believe Kentucky deserves a spot in the NCAA Tournament?

Same here. We are losing games left and right. We need to find the root of the evil. Is it the coaching staff, the players, or both? I think both can be blamed, but it really is up to the players to go out and play!
I really haven’t seen a team over the last 2 or 3 weeks. I am starting to wonder? I think we must win the SEC Tourney to make the field of 65, but at the rate we’re going, that will never happen!
I agree BlueFan.
