Upcoming Game Report
The Kentucky Wildcats’ next game is at the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday, 18 Jan 2009, at 12:00 p.m. (EST).
Kentucky comes in on a 2 game win streak while Georgia has lost it’s last 4. The Bulldogs have 9 wins and 8 losses on the season without facing any major opponent or any top 25 team. The Bulldogs come into the game with no wins in the SEC and have losses to such teams as Loyola Chicago and Texas A&M C.C. this season while the Wildcats are 2-0 in the SEC with their wins against Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
This game is UK all the way and look for Jodie Meeks to continue his streak, although it is unlikely that He will put up another 54 points, but He should have a great game along with Patrick Patterson. Look for Patterson to come up big in this game with double-double numbers.
Expect the Cats to put UG away early, but Georgia did give Tennessee a battle until the Vols pulled away late in the basketball game on the 10th of January this year.
The Kentucky Wildcats will try to avenge their overtime loss in the SEC Tournament from last year, when the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats in what was a series of unfortunate events when a tornado tore through Atlanta causing the game to be delayed and giving the two teams a disadvantage in the tournament.
