The Kentucky Wildcat Men’s basketball team defeated the Campbellsville Tigers by a score of 74-38 on November 2nd 2009, but it was not a pretty basketball game at all.  As expected, both teams committed many turnovers in a sloppy, low-scoring game.  UK did look very good at times, but other times, it was obvious that these players have not practiced together very much.  There wasn’t much set-play calling and not very much dribble-drive for that matter.

Darnell Dodson was the top man for the Kentucky Wildcats.  He scored 19 points and had 5 rebounds.  Perry Stevenson and DeMarcus Cousins added 11 points a piece.  Eric Bledsoe show signs of greatness at times, but other times, rushed and didn’t make good decisions.  He will be fine, he just needs more time to feel everyone out to get better.  John Wall did not play due to a suspension he is currently serving for the “Agent Incident”.  He is expected to play the next exhibition game, but will also have to sit out the first game of the season against Morehead St. in the final game of his 2-game suspension.
